Health and wellness are one of y’alls favorite topics so I was SO EXCITED when I heard that Restore was opening a location here in Naples! We attended their soft opening this past weekend and booked a range of services that we were so excited to experience!

With a focus on Hyper Wellness, Restore offers a range of services including some that I am familiar with (Cryotherapy) and some that I know nothing about (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) but the staff was so knowledgeable and excited to educate us on all the services during our tour of the facility as well as throughout the day! We were so impressed!

Insider Experience

For our visit, we scheduled Compression Therapy, Photobiomodulation Therapy, an Infrared Sauna Session, and a whole-body Cryotherapy Session (Matt opted for localized)! I began with Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBM) which “uses near infrared light to reduce pain, inflammation and edema, and boost recovery. I opted to stand for my 12-minute session with PBM panel in front and back of me. Prior to starting my session, Katie (Assistant Manager), gave me a quick rundown of what was going to take place, the benefits of PBM, and that I could sit or stand and undress however much I felt comfortable (you’re in a private, locked room). I opted to stand for my twelve-minute session and completely undress for maximum benefit. The PBM panels emit heat that will start a little sweat depending on how close you pull the panels to you, but it was never uncomfortable and there is also a fan that you can turn on should you get too hot.

Compression Therapy

After PBM, I lounged in a chaise for my Compression Therapy session and it was HEAVEN. Restore uses Normatec and offers sessions for your legs, arms, and hips. I opted for legs and would have fallen asleep if they had left me there for much longer. The degree of compression can vary but I chose to start at a more beginner level (5, I think) and it felt perfect for me. Typically, Compression Therapy is used for recovery so a visit to Restore will be at the top of my list when I am sore from CycleBar classes!

What I loved about the setup for Compression Therapy and IV Drip Therapy is that it is in a common space so you can socialize if you like but at the same time, it is quiet enough to just chill if your time at Restore is for a little R&R.

Infrared Sauna Therapy

After Compression Therapy, Matt and I did a joint Infrared Sauna Session (30 minutes). Again, Katie gave us a quick explanation of the treatment as well as the benefits and cued up Netflix in case we wanted to watch an episode of our favorite show during our session!

While an Infrared Sauna produces heat in a different and more beneficial for your health way, we still ended up completely drenched in sweat and were thankful that there is a fully stocked shower in the room. I love saunas but am never able to sit in one for more than 15 minutes and afterwards, I usually feel depleted, but I noticed a significant difference after our Infrared Sauna session. Not only was I able to stay in the sauna for the full 30-minute session, I actually felt energized afterwards!

Cryotherapy

Because of the order we did our services, we needed to wait for our body to cool down and our skin to be completely dry before our Cryotherapy session. To be honest, we did not mind the wait because Restore installed the MOST AMAZING massage chairs in the common area that I would honestly pay to just come and sit in from time to time. After we were cleared for Cryotherapy, I was introduced to Lisa who would be with me for my session. After donning my wrap, socks, slippers and gloves, Lisa educated me on what was going to happen, asked what music I would like to listen to, and took my external temperature so that we could compare it post-session. To be honest, I was terrified as Lisa opened the chamber and I felt a blast of the freezing air but Lisa said she was going to talk me through the whole session and that the time would fly by. My session was beginner level for just 2.5 minutes and Lisa was right, it did go by rather quickly once I caught my breath and started joking with Lisa to get my mind off the increasingly freezing temperature. After my session, I felt AMAZING! Cryotherapy is great for inflammation and after dealing with a lower back injury for the better part of a week, I could not believe how limber and pain-free I felt. Needless to say, I am now addicted to Cryotherapy!

Restore Memberships

While every service can be paid for a la carte, Restore also offers memberships for individuals and couples and if you signed up for a membership before their grand opening the first week of July, you receive a 20% discount for life + member pricing on all services! Nick, the owner of Restore, explained the memberships and who would benefit from each of them.

The Restore Membership is great for the health conscience person and offers 2 services (Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, PBM, Compression Therapy, or Stretch Base) per month for $63/person or $111/couple. What we loved about this membership is that if you are traveling or busy one month, you do not lose your credits! They simply role over to the next month.

The Wellness Membership is for the person who wants a medical wellness service (IV Drip or Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) on a regular basis. This membership is great to add on to the Restore Membership because an IV Drip alone is regularly $109 but you would only be paying $79!

Finally, the Daily Membership is for the healthy and wellness junkie and offers 31 credits every month for Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, PBM, and Compression Therapy! While not many of us have the time for a service every day, Nick explained that you can come in once a week for one of each service and use your credits that way! This membership is truly an amazing way to improve and maintain a healthy lifestyle!

For more information on memberships or to sign up for one, CLICK HERE! Please note that they are currently offering 20% off memberships plus 3 free Cryotherapy Sessions and a free water bottle!

Restore will be having a grand opening the first week of July so we will announce the details of that as the date gets closer. In the meantime, schedule a service with Restore and tell them The Naples Insider sent you!

Cheers!

Matt & Megan
