The Naples Insider X Lazy Turtle Giveaway
Moving from Chicago to Naples meant trading a concrete jungle for sun, sand, and palm trees and while we’re not complaining, it was definitely an adjustment! With this trade also comes the responsibility to maintain and care for the paradise that we live in and Megan and her family have taken this responsibility very seriously. Also Midwest transplants, Megan, her husband, and her three kids moved to Naples and immediately began looking for ways to help with the conservation efforts of some of Southwest Florida’s cutest residents, the sea turtles.
Lazy Turtle was kind enough to send us each an SPF shirt and while we’ve collected quite a few SPF shirts over the couple of years that we’ve lived here, these have quickly become our favorite. So what could be so special or different about their SPF shirts? Well, the quality is obvious (they’re made in the USA and they’re made well) but what surprised us the most was how soft the material was. We have often found SPF shirts to be practical in keeping our skin safe from the sun but not necessarily comfortable especially once wet. These SPF shirts felt like silk, were breathable even after an afternoon of fishing, and looked good enough to wear to a restaurant Downtown Naples for a quick bite before heading home.

What does a perfect day in Naples look like for the Lazy Turtle family?
A day in paradise for them means enjoying the water! Whether they are taking their boat to Keewaydin Island or spending the day on the beach, Megan said that everyone is happiest when they’re close to the water! After a day in the sunshine, Megan and her family like to enjoy the sunset while sipping on a cocktail (adults only, obviously) or dinner at their favorite restaurant!
