A Staycation at Inn on Fifth

We were SO excited when Inn on Fifth invited us for a stay at one of their Club Level Suites. We have been meaning to book a stay here for a year or so but just never got around to doing it (mostly because we’ve been SO busy) so we booked a night, packed a bag, and headed downtown ready for some serious R&R!

Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom for details on the Resident Rate and an AMAZING deal going on at the Spa on Fifth or, click HERE to contact the spa directly! Also, jump to the FAQ for some must-know details!

Check-in at The Inn on Fifth

When we arrived we were immediately escorted across the street to check in with the Club Level Concierge and get settled in our suite. As expected, the suite was stunning but what took the cake was the over-sized balcony overlooking Fifth Avenue! We popped the bottle of champagne that was waiting for us and enjoyed a glass on the balcony before throwing on our swimsuits and heading to the pool.

An Afternoon at the Rooftop Pool & Courtyard

Inn on Fifth recently renovated their rooftop pool and courtyard and it is STUNNING. The perfectly curated space includes a full size pool, spa, fire pit, covered cabana with couches and of course, plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. We chose our lounge chairs and immediately hopped in the pool because it was HOT. Thankfully, the water was cool and the pool attendant quickly brought us a round of refreshing margaritas. Typical for Naples’ summers, the afternoon rain eventually rolled in so we took shelter under the cabana and enjoyed a light lunch. The menu is not extensive but was sufficient to hold us over until cocktail hour that evening.

Club Level Cocktail Hour

A unique feature of the Club Level Suites is a complimentary cocktail hour complete with a chef’s selection of appetizers and top shelf liquor. Due to COVID-19, the cocktail hour was not held in the lounge. Instead, appetizers and drinks were served either in suite or on the Club Level’s exclusive rooftop deck. We opted to be served in our suite so that we could enjoy a cocktail on our balcony while getting ready for the evening.

Live Music and a Nightcap

After dinner and a stroll down Fifth Avenue, we retired to our suite and lounged on our balcony with a glass of wine listening to a pair play the violin in Sudgen Plaza directly across the street. It was the most relaxing and perfect end to a full day. Oh, and if you’re wondering, the mattress and pillows are SO DANG AMAZING! We immediately fell asleep and I don’t think either of us moved the entire night.

Breakfast with a View

When we woke up, we immediately headed out on our balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee and wait for our breakfast to be delivered (another perk of staying in the Club Level Suites). Like cocktail hour, breakfast is currently not being served in the lounge but why would you want to eat inside when you can enjoy your coffee and pastries overlooking Fifth Avenue? After breakfast we once again headed to the pool to soak up every last bit of sunshine before heading home.

The Spa on Fifth

Because we stayed well past our check out time, the hotel was kind enough to let us shower in the spa since we had dinner reservations that evening. The spa is small but serene and we will definitely be back for a service or two because they are currently having an AMAZING deal! The Spa on Fifth is offering a 50 minute Therapeutic Massage and a 50 minute Deep Pore Cleansing Facial for $99.00 each or you can have both for $175! After how busy we’ve been the past couple of months, both services are much needed!

Inn on Fifth FAQ

Is there any sort of special going on right now?

Yes! If you’re in need of a staycation as much as we were, you will LOVE the FL Resident Rate Inn on Fifth is offering! Click HERE to view the exclusive rates and to book your staycation!

Are the Club Level Suites worth the upgrade?

YES! 100%! Not only are the oversized balconies the perfect place to lounge, the exclusive rooftop deck was what made the Club Level Suites extra special! This rooftop deck is exclusive to the suites’ guests and offers lounge chairs, tables, a spa, and a beautiful fir pit surrounded by couches. It was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine while viewing Downtown Naples over the tops of the palm trees!

Is there a restaurant on site?

Not like a typical hotel but Ocean Prime and Trulucks are right outside the doors. In addition to those two restaurants, you literally have every restaurant on Fifth Avenue within walking distance of the hotel and all of the restaurants on Third Avenue just a short drive away!

How much is parking for hotel guests?

It is FREE to valet your car and they even offer a golf cart to take you to and from the beach as well as an SUV to take you around Downtown Naples so you can literally hand them your keys and not need them again until you depart!

How was the pool? Good drinks?

The pool was recently completely remodeled and it is STUNNING! They made such good use of the space and it really gives you those vacation vibes as soon as you walk in. There is a bar at the pool and of course, we ordered margaritas! They were delicious!

Did you feel safe due to COVID-19?

Yes! Like I said, Inn on Fifth made changes to the food service to allow for social distancing. The hotel also had all staff wearing masks and offered sanitizing stations throughout the entire hotel. I also viewed staff cleaning throughout the hotel multiple times per day! We truly felt confident that all precautions were being taken!

Thank you Inn on Fifth for offering such a wonderful staycation! We can’t wait to come back!

Also, please note that while Inn on Fifth offered us a complimentary stay, all opinions shared are my own! Now go book your staycation!!

Cheers!
